For basketball fans, the NBA Draft represents the start of something special.
The unknown potential and promise of a prospect entering the league and joining their favorite team’s roster. It's the first step in a rookie’s professional journey, and maybe, one day, a Moment-worthy NBA Finals performance that brings them and their fans a championship.
It’s a night to be celebrated — for players, their families and their fans — and this year, NBA Top Shot is continuing a tradition we started last year with Access Unlocked: NBA Draft.
We’ll be taking 5 collectors (and their plus ones) to Brooklyn to attend the NBA Draft at Barclays Center on Thursday, June 23, 2022. To recognize their outstanding contributions as a member of our community, we are also delighted to announce that Louis B aka “Wags” in Discord will be joining us and our collectors as an honorary Access Unlocked attendee.
Here’s how Access Unlocked for the NBA Draft works
There are four ways you can win one of five spots at the NBA Draft — three different snapshots and one sweepstakes.
If you win, you and your plus one will be headed to Barclays for a once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch the NBA Draft on Thursday, June 23. This trip will include:
- Tickets for you and your guest in the NBA Top Shot Suite at the 2022 NBA Draft
- NBA Draft Pre-Game Reception at Barclays Center
- NBA Athlete Meet & Greet
- Two Nights Hotel Accommodations in New York City June 22-24, 2022
- Round Trip flights or travel to and from your hometown to New York City (if necessary)
- Group dining experiences and activities with NBA Top Shot staff
Two winners will be selected via sweepstakes:
- Two winners will be randomly selected if they purchase one (1) or more 2021-2022 Series 3 Rookie Moments in the Marketplace between June 9, 2022 and June 12, 2022 at 11:59:59pm PT (See rules here).
Snapshot Requirements
Three winners will be selected via three different snapshots that were taken on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 2:00pm ET.
- One (1) Winner will be randomly selected from a snapshot containing every user who owns at least 50 NBA Top Shot Rookie Moments, and has logged in to NBA Top Shot at least once within the last 60 days.
- One (1) Winner will be randomly selected via a snapshot containing every user who purchased at least 10 NBA Top Shot Rookie Moments from the NBA Top Shot Marketplace within the last 60 days.
- One (1) Winner will be randomly selected via a snapshot containing every user who completed the “2022 NBA All-Rookie Team” Challenge on NBA Top Shot.
Details
- This contest is open to all individuals that are eligible and able to enter into the United States. For more information on travel eligibility, U.S. Travel Guidelines can be found here.
- COVID Protocol - We are adhering to local Government COVID-19 Requirements (found here) and NBA Protocols. Guests will need to be fully vaccinated (winners would not need to have a Booster Shot) per NBA Health & Safety Guidelines.
- We will be contacting winners and confirming travel as soon as Friday, June 10, 2022 for snapshot winners, and immediately after the sweepstakes ends.
- Winners of the snapshot will be publicly announced no later than Friday, June 17, 2022 upon confirmation of their acceptance of this prize.
- We will not be providing a consolation prize for those who win but decline the invitation, or those who win but cannot attend the events.
Dapper Labs reserves the right not to award any or all Prizes if the game is not played.
Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer their Prize (e.g no consolation prize if you’re unable to attend). Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, state and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses otherwise associated with accepting any Prize. All Prize details are provided at our sole discretion.
