Dapper’s VIP Program Revamped for 2024 with an eye toward 2025
The Upshot:
- From today through NBA All-Star Weekend, VIPs are exclusively offered a 20% marketplace net spend credit bonus.
- Retroactive rewards for top net spenders in Q4, to be paid out in January
We’re closing out 2024 with a bang, and we’re thrilled to share exciting updates for our VIP collectors. The holidays are here, and with ‘em comes an exclusive marketplace bonus opportunity, along with a preview of the future for the Dapper VIP Program.
Q4 2024 VIP Marketplace Reward Details
From October 1, 2024 (12:00 AM ET) through December 18th, 2024 (11:59 PM ET), all current VIPs with a positive net spend on NBA Top Shot and at least a neutral net spend on third party marketplaces will have the chance to earn non-withdrawable Dapper Balance rewards based on their Marketplace activity on NBA Top Shot and NFL ALL DAY. This is our way of saying thank you for being a part of the Dapper community and celebrating an incredible year together.
The Exclusive VIP Marketplace Bonus
And between now (December 19th) and NBA All-Star weekend (February 16 at 11:59 PM ET), all collectors are eligible to join earn the VIP marketplace bonus
Here’s how the reward works:
Promotion Highlights:
- Qualified purchases include those from the NBA Top Shot and NFL ALL DAY marketplaces.
- Net Spend = (Total Marketplace Purchases – Total Marketplace Sales – NFT Withdrawals at Purchase Price) during the promotion period.
- A minimum of $2,000 combined Total Net Spend is required to qualify for the marketplace boost.
Payouts will be issued as non-withdrawable Dapper Balance by March 1, 2025.
Looking Ahead: The Future of the VIP Program
2025 is set to bring a fresh structure to the Dapper VIP Program, starting with a biannual qualification system. Here’s what you need to know:
- All existing VIPs will be grandfathered into the new program for the first 2 months (until February 16th, 2025)
- The first requalification period begins January 1, 2025, and ends June 30, 2025. Simply compile $5,000 in net spend per quarter to qualify for Silver status.

Our goal is to provide transparency, set clear expectations, and ensure every VIP feels valued. December’s marketplace boost is just one of many ways we’re committed to rewarding our most passionate collectors and enhancing the Dapper VIP experience.
Terms and Conditions
- Purchases of NBA Top Shot or NFL ALL DAY Moments made on third-party marketplaces will not positively impact your Net Spend calculation; however, sales will count against the final total.
- Any negative net spend during the promotional period will disqualify a collector from receiving a reward. Positive or neutral net spending per each first- and third-party marketplace is required for eligibility.
- Packs purchased or sold on NBA Top Shot and NFL ALL DAY pack marketplaces will count toward the Marketplace Purchase Reward marketplace boost calculation.
- VIP accounts will be reviewed to safeguard the integrity of the program. Attempts to manipulate the marketplace boost promotion may result in disqualification or removal from the program.
- Dapper reserves the right to withhold bonus funds for activities including, but not limited to, fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, or other illicit activities.
