Top Shot Community,
Today marks the end of Series 3. With it:
- Team Checklists are now live, making it easier for collectors to track every player from each Series for any team, so you can stay up to date with completed Team Series, find what’s missing from your collection, lock the Moments on the checklist and boost your Team Leaderboard position. To find a checklist, visit your Top Shot Score and select any team from the drop down menu.
- No new Series 3 Moments will ever be created — collect the ones you love, lock the ones you really love, burn ‘em for rewards, trade ‘em for tickets or collect them all! Every Series 3 Moment is a Limited Edition (LE) collectible.
- Team communities will grow, with an opportunity for collectors with every Series 3 Moment of a team to become a verified member of that team community and participate in activities and events hosted by Team Captains in each Top Shot Discord channel.
- A chance for our team to reflect on all that was done, celebrate the past and focus on the future. I’ve never been more excited for an NBA season in my life.
Throughout the Series, and the 2021-22 NBA season it captured so beautifully, Top Shot made tremendous strides forward at building a place for basketball fans to collect, connect, play and experience. All of what we’ve done, and what we will do, is only possible because we have the best and most passionate community of collectors, fans and hoops lovers in the world.
Series 3 (Nov 2, 2021 — August 10, 2022) brought:
- The introduction of Flash Challenges, Crafting Challenges, Leaderboards, Allowlists, Watchlists, MVP Badges, Collector Titles, Top Shot Score, Series 1 Reserve Packs, new Pack Drops and Locker Packs that add an extra layer of excitement to what you can pull.
- The debut of Game Recognize Game, All-Star Classics, Extra Spice, Fresh Threads, Metallic Silver FE, Rim Shakers and Player’s Choice.
- The return of Hustle and Show, Throwdowns, Deck The Hoops, All-Star and Rising Stars, And Then There Were Four, NBA Playoffs and Finals, Base Set, Metallic Gold LE and Holo Icon.
- The first-ever 1/1 NFTs designed, auctioned and minted in partnership with the NBA, celebrating the league’s 75th anniversary with 30 NFTs that unlock unprecedented access to five years of NBA All-Star festivities.
- The privilege of working with Magic Johnson, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Doris Burke, Jalen Green, Jalen Suggs, Evan Mobley, Davion Mitchell, Channing Frye, J.R. Smith, Quentin Richardson, Nate Robinson, A’ja Wilson and Richard Hamilton.
- The growth of our communities, from the introduction of Team Captains — 30 fandom-led, Top Shot supported groups dedicated to each NBA team — to the progression of the Nine Lives Lounge, NBA Top Shot’s signature and flagship collector community.
- The expansion of IRL experiences, with over 900 collectors getting to watch their favorite NBA team compete in the Playoffs with free tickets, The Tour: Las Vegas and 7 Access Unlocked experiences, ranging from Tip-Off to Christmas to the NBA Finals to the NBA Draft.
