The Legendary Access and an Ultimate Achievement
Collectors who manage to pick up and lock all 30 Freshman Gems Rares by 1 PM ET on Friday, March 1, 2024 will earn a guaranteed right to purchase a Legendary Rookie Revelations pack, coming later that month.
Additionally, collectors who lock the entire Freshman Gems Set by 1 PM ET on Friday, March 1, 2024, will receive a single Moment pack. This pack will contain either a Metallic Gold LE Moment from 2023-24 or a 1/1 Ultimate Rookie Moment from Brandon Miller.

Leading up to the pack drop, we have 30 unique burn-to-earn Player Leaderboards, allowing collectors to earn Freshman Gems Moments by burning Rookie Debuts from those same players.
Looking ahead, Rare Rookie Moments will be the sole requirements to earn Legendary Rookie Revelation Moments on the player burn leaderboards.

For these 2023 Rookies, the top 23 collectors on each respective Player Leaderboard will receive a Freshman Gems Rare Moment from that same player.
For example: 23 collectors will earn Chet Holmgren’s Freshman Gems Rare Moment through burning multiples of his Common Rookie Debut Moment.

Freshman Gems Crate Leaderboard
Want all the new Rare rookies in one hit? The top collector of this Leaderboard will win a Freshman Gems Crate with all 30 Rare Freshman Gems Moments, guaranteeing the complete set. And if you open the crate and lock the set, you will receive a guaranteed right to purchase a Rookie Revelation pack, and a guaranteed prize in the form of a future 2023-24 Metallic Gold LE Rare Moment OR the Ultimate 1/1 Moment from Brandon Miller.
Eligible Moments include Legendary Moments from players who have won the Rookie of the Year award. Starts Thursday, January 18 at 1 PM ET and ends on Monday, January 29 at 12 PM ET.
Freshman Gems Pack Leaderboard
Secure a Freshman Gems Pack by submitting rare Moments from players who have won the Rookie of the Year and were All-Stars last season: LeBron James, Ja Morant, Luka Doncic, Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. The collectors who finish in the top 25 will earn a Freshman Gems Pack.
Starts January 29 at 1 PM ET and ends January 30 at 12 PM ET.

Climbing Team and Player Leaderboards gives collectors the chance to win brand new Moments from your favorite teams and players all season long.
Team Leaderboards
Collectors who rank on the Team Leaderboards of the teams associated with Moments in this drop will have a special opportunity to land new Moments from their team. A total of 3 Moments of every Freshman Gems edition released in this drop will be distributed this way.
For this draw, one collector will be from the top 250, one collector will be from the top 100 and one collector will be from the top 10.
There are also three brand new Rookie Debut Moments from Julian Phillips, Ben Sheppard and Leonard Miller which will go to five collectors from the top 1,000 of the respective team leaderboards.

Set Rewards
There will be Quick Rip Freshman Gems packs airdropped to collectors who have a complete Base Set from Series 1, 2, 3 or 4 by 12 PM ET on Monday, January 29, 2024. Collectors can lock up to two complete sets for each Base Set. Those who lock a complete Series 1 Base Set will receive five (5) Quick Rip Freshman Gems packs. Those who lock a complete NBA Base Set from Series 2, 3, and 4 will receive two (2) Quick Rip Freshman Gems packs each.
Edit at 8:15 PM ET on January 18, 2024. In the Level Up Your Rookie Collection section of the blog we mistakenly said Freshman Gems was the ONLY way to get Rookie Revelation Moments on the player leaderboards. There were two mistakes here. First, all Rare Rookie moments from the 2023-24 season will be eligible, which includes Metallic Gold LE. Second, we are only referring to the player BURN leaderboards. The regular player leaderboards that are used for weighted airdrops will still count ALL Moments at ALL tiers of the respective players.
