NBA Top Shot is opening up beta and we’ll be dropping hot plays starting today. Our launch library contains 150 top highlights from the 2019-20 NBA season. That’s 5 highlights from each team, 5 different players on each team, to make sure there is something for everybody. This library will continue to grow both forward in time as games start up again and backward in time to build a more robust look at the 2019-20 season.
On an average drop day at NBA Top Shot we expect to be dropping one… maybe two… new packs, but today is not an average day! Three packs are on the block.

Who isn’t looking for the first ever Rookie Debut Special Edition Ja Morant dunk? Rookie seasons are once in a lifetime and the fire plays can never be repeated, neither will these limited edition Moments when they sell out.
Our initial drop of Rookie Debut SEs will only be available in Rookie Debut packs. New moments by rookies will be added into this set in the future, so while specific Moments will sell-out, the set will keep growing.
Once Challenges launch, the only way to cop a monster Zion Williamson Rookie Debut swat will be to own one of each Rookie Debut from this initial drop, so don’t sleep on it.

Once these packs sell out, Cosmic Moments will only ever be available from the lucky fans who own them… If they ever give them up. At a cap of 49 of each Exclusive Edition, they’re rarer than rare.
