How It Works
The March Mayhem Deposit Match is simple:
1. Add funds to your Dapper Wallet
Add new funds via bank transfer, debit card, credit card, or PayPal during the promotional window (March 13-16). Pre-existing balance does not qualify.
2. Collect Moments on the Marketplace
Use those newly added funds to buy the Moments or packs you've been chasing.
3. Lock your collection
Lock the Moments you purchase (or open and lock all contents from any packs) during the promotional window.
4. Earn your match
We'll deliver your matched bonus as Dapper Balance on Tuesday, March 17 evening, right before the March 18 pack drop.
Match Tiers: Everyone Can Play
This isn't just for VIPs. We've designed this promotion so collectors at every level can participate and earn rewards.
VIP Collectors (15% Match)
- Match: 15%
- Eligibility: All current VIPs (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum)
- Minimum qualified spend: $100
- Maximum Reward: Uncapped
VIP tiers have no maximum limits. The more you collect and lock, the more you earn.
Example: You add $5,000 in fresh funds, buy and lock Moments worth $5,000. You earn a 15% match = $750 in Dapper Balance.
At scale: Add $50,000 in fresh funds, buy and lock $50,000 worth of Moments = $7,500 in Dapper Balance.
All Collectors (10% Match)
- Match: 10%
- Eligibility: Every collector on NBA Top Shot
- Minimum qualified spend: $100
- Maximum Reward: $1,000
Example: You add $1,000 in fresh funds, buy and lock Moments worth $1,000. You earn a 10% match = $100 in Dapper Balance.
At scale: Add $10,000 in fresh funds, buy and lock $10,000 worth of Moments = $1,000 in Dapper Balance. (maximum reward)

What This Means for VIPs
VIP collectors earn 15% on every dollar they add and lock.
Your VIP status means:
- No maximum reward limits
- 15% back on everything you deposit and lock

What Qualifies
To earn your match, here's what counts:
How Your Match Is Calculated
Rebate = Locked Purchase Value Funded by New Deposits x Match Rate
Simple mechanics: your match is calculated purely on what you deposit, buy, and lock. Sales during the window don't reduce your qualifying amount. No complicated deductions.
Important: Purchases must be made with funds added to your Dapper Wallet between March 13 and March 16. Pre-existing Dapper Balance from before the promotion does not qualify.
Example:
You add $2,000 in fresh funds on March 13. You buy and lock $2,000 worth of Moments. Even if you sell $500 worth of other Moments during the window, your qualifying amount stays at $2,000. Your match is calculated on the full $2,000.
What Counts Toward Your Match
- Marketplace Moment purchases that are locked during the promotional window
- Pack purchases where all contents are opened and locked during the window
- Only purchases made with funds added March 13-16 (via bank transfer, debit card, credit card, or PayPal)
What Doesn't Count
- Dapper Balance from before March 13 (pre-existing balance does not qualify)
- Purchases funded by marketplace sales proceeds during the window
- Moments that remain unlocked during the window
- Unopened packs
- Purchases of Boxes and Cases
