Throughout this NBA season on Top Shot, Moments from all sets will be released periodically in a variety of pack drops. Fans can also collect Rare and Legendary Moments by competing in Trade-In Auctions or completing Crafting Challenges that offer exclusive access to the newest Moments.

The following sets will have both Set Challenges and Expert Challenge Rewards: Throwdowns, For the Win, Denied!, Metallic Gold LE and Holo Icon.

A Holo Icon set challenge will open for completion after 4 Moments from the set have been released and those 4 Moments will be required to earn a limited-mint Legendary Holo Icon challenge reward Moment from a top player.

Holo Icon Expert Challenge Reward

Once the final Legendary Moments from the Holo Icon set are released, collectors will be able to complete the Expert Challenge and earn an extremely scarce Legendary reward Moment from a superstar player!

The Expert Challenge will require collectors to lock every Holo Icon Moment in the set (including the Challenge Reward Moments) to earn the reward, which will be minted according to the number of Expert Challenge completions.

Metallic Gold LE Expert Challenge Reward

When the last Moments from the MGLE set are released, collectors will be able to complete the Expert Challenge and earn a super limited Rare reward Moment from a star player!

The Expert Challenge will require collectors to lock every MGLE Moment in the set (including the challenge reward Moments) to earn the reward, which will be minted according to the number of Expert Challenge completions.

For The Win encapsulates game-sealing plays into coveted Rare Moments, allowing fans and collectors to relive and own a piece of this season’s most dramatic highlights.

When the last Moments from the For The Win set are released, collectors will be able to complete the Expert Challenge and earn an ultra-limited Rare reward Moment featuring a premier player’s game-deciding play!

The Expert Challenge will require collectors to lock every For The Win Moment in the set (including the challenge reward Moments) to earn the reward, which will be minted according to the number of Expert Challenge completions.

Denied! has officially returned to Top Shot this season for the first time since Series 1. This set is the epitome of a defensive stop and provides basketball fans with the ability to collect and own the art of the block.

Denied! Set Challenges

A Denied! set challenge will open for completion after 5 Moments from the set have been released. Those 5 Moments will then be required to earn a scarce Denied! challenge reward Rare Moment from a defensive dynamo.

Denied! Expert Challenge Reward

When the last Moments from the Denied! set are released, collectors will be able to complete the Expert Challenge and earn a very limited Rare reward Moment featuring a lockdown defender’s unforgettable swat!

The Expert Challenge will require collectors to lock every Denied! Moment in the set (including the challenge reward Moments) to earn the reward, which will be minted according to the number of Expert Challenge completions.

Throwdowns has become a staple set in the Top Shot community and this year will be no different. These viral high-flying, emphatic, and powerful dunk highlights are often the most-watched plays of the year!

Throwdowns Set Challenges

A Throwdowns set challenge will open for completion after 5 Moments from the set have been released. Those 5 Moments will then be required to earn an exclusive Throwdowns challenge reward Rare Moment from a slam dunk artist.

Throwdowns Expert Challenge Reward

When the last Moments from the Throwdowns set are released, collectors will be able to complete the Expert Challenge and earn a scarce reward Moment that showcases a memorable throwdown!

The Expert Challenge will require collectors to lock every Throwdowns Moment in the set (including the challenge reward Moments) to earn the reward, which will be minted according to the number of Expert Challenge completions.

Earn new Rare & Legendary Moments by completing Crafting Challenges. Each player with a newly minted Moment in this drop will have a Crafting Challenge with new Moments up for grabs! Act fast and be one of the first collectors to complete the challenge and secure your reward.

The Crafting Challenges below will remain open until 2 PM ET on Friday, November 8th, or until the completion limit is reached, whichever happens first. Any unclaimed Moments will be put into packs and sold.

Exclusive to collectors, each player’s #1, Jersey Match, and Perfect Mint special serial numbers will be randomly distributed amongst the Moments earned by collectors that complete these challenges (excluding the LeBron James challenge). If the completion limit is not reached, the odds of scoring a special serial increase for all collectors who complete the challenge!
