Rip your first NBA Top Shot Pack
As a new member of the NBA Top Shot community, you are guaranteed a chance to buy a “Starter Pack” featuring the best plays from the NBA season.
These Starter Packs can contain some of the rarest Moments on NBA Top Shot. Much like ripping a pack of physical cards, or opening a present, you won’t know exactly what’s inside, but the thrill of finding out is half the fun.
Everything in your pack gets instantly added to your digital collection, which you can access and view on any device.
Starter Packs are filled with players from every NBA team, including Trae Young, Jayson Tatum, LaMelo Ball, Evan Mobley, Steph Curry, Ja Morant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Devin Booker and Donovan Mitchell.
Each Moment™ NFT is a digital highlight representing one of their best plays from the ‘21-22 NBA season, and each is officially licensed in partnership with the NBA and National Basketball Players Association.
You own your NBA Top Shot Moments, and opening your first pack is the first step towards connecting with your favorite players and teams.
Explore the Marketplace
The NBA Top Shot Marketplace is where you can find individual Moment NFTs from your favorite players.
Every NBA and WNBA Moment in the Marketplace is owned by another member of our community. It’s peer-to-peer (P2P) and open 24/7/365.
You can buy Moments with your credit card or cryptocurrency, and sell Moments in your collection for credit that instantly goes to the Dapper Wallet connected to your Top Shot account.
The Marketplace is easy to search and filter. Type the name of your favorite team, search by “play type” like dunk and assist or search for Moments from your favorite players.
You can easily list any Moment from your Starter Pack for sale, then use that Dapper Balance to buy something new in the Marketplace.
Try a Flash Challenge
Flash Challenges invite you to build a Showcase (aka a curated highlight reel of your Moments) based on different NBA situations.
Showcases are the tool you’ll use to create a Challenge Entry to participate in our Flash Challenges, a series of daily Marketplace mini-games based on in real life action.
For example, in a recent Flash Challenge, everyone who built a Showcase featuring the 10 players that led the NBA in blocks and rebounds on Jan. 13, 2022, earned a free Evan Mobley Moment from our “Metallic Silver” collection.
For the 2022 NBA All-Star, we created new Flash Challenges tied to the Rising Stars Game, Skills Competition, Three Point Contest, Dunk Contest, and All-Star Game.

New packs are available on a weekly basis, and you can visit our Packs page to see what's coming, and what we recently released. Every pack drop features new Moments, hand-picked by our team to reflect the best highlights of the year.
