The 2023 WNBA Playoffs are here, and with it, the home stretch of new collectibles and exciting updates for our WNBA collector community! On Friday, September 22, the season’s final Base Set and MGLE Drops will take place. Start your collection today to own these exclusive WNBA collectibles.
Between today and the 22nd, First Round Playoffs action between the Mystics vs. Liberty, Dream vs. Wings, Lynx vs. Sun, and Sky vs. Aces. In addition to getting a Pack in these Drops, these games —and their outcomes — will give fans the ability to earn additional Rare and Common Packs for their collection.

COLLECTING RARE WNBA MGLE MOMENTS
On Friday, September 22, at 3 PM ET, collectors can join the Drop on Top Shot’s website and purchase a $39 Rare Pack containing 1 guaranteed MGLE Moment, minted to just /199, and 5 Common Base Set Moments.
- This will be a Live Queue with a Waiting Room that begins at 2 PM ET, and collectors can purchase their Packs with Dapper Balance or Credit Card.
- For MGLE collectors, this Drop features the only Rare Moments of the season for Allisha Gray, Kahleah Copper, Satou Sabally, Nneka Ogwumike, A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Diamond Miller, Courtney Vandersloot, Brittney Griner, Ezi Magbegor, and Elena Delle Donne.
- By collecting and locking all 11 MGLE Moments, you’ll earn the MGLE Challenge Reward Moment for 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston — the most limited edition Moment she’ll have in her Rookie Season and the final Rookie Moment she’ll ever have on WNBA Top Shot.
- The MGLE Moments of players on the Aces, Sky, Liberty, Mystics, Sun, Lynx, Wings, and Dream are eligible to be burned in a new Leaderboard, starting on Wednesday, September 20 at 1 PM ET, and ending on Thursday, September 21 at 4 PM ET.
- The Top 300 collectors on this Leaderboard will each receive 1 new MGLE Pack, and collectors who finish outside of the Top 300 will not have their Moments burned.
COLLECTING COMMON WNBA BASE SET MOMENTS
On Friday, September 22, at 3 PM ET, collectors join the Drop on Top Shot’s website and purchase a $10 Common Pack containing 10 new Common Base Set Moments — with a 5% chance of finding a new WNBA MGLE Moment inside!
This will be a Live Queue with a Waiting Room that begins at 2 PM ET, and collectors can purchase their Packs with Dapper Balance or Credit Card.
The final Base Set Moments feature Li Meng, AD Durr, Cheyenne Parker, Elizabeth Williams, Marina Mabrey, DeWanna Bonner, Olivia Nelson-Ododa, Arike Ogunbowale, Natasha Howard, Erica Wheeler, Lexie Hull, Jordin Canada, Layshia Clarendon, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, Kayla McBride, Lindsay Allen, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Diana Taurasi, Sophie Cunningham, Jewell Loyd, Sami Whitcomb, and Brittney Sykes.
A Base Set Pack Leaderboard will go live on Thursday, September 21, at 1 PM ET, ending at 11 AM ET on Friday, September 22. In this Leaderboard, the Top 100 collectors will each receive 2 new WNBA Base Set Packs, and the Top Shot Debuts of players on the Aces, Sky, Liberty, Mystics, Sun, Lynx, Wings, and Dream can be burned. Collectors who finish outside of the Top 100 will not have their Moments burned.
WNBA PLAYOFFS FLASH CHALLENGE
On Thursday, September 21 at 1 PM ET, a new WNBA Flash Challenge will also go live, ending at 1 PM ET on Friday, September 22.
The Moments required to complete this Challenge will be determined by the outcome of each First Round WNBA game below, and collectors will need to lock the Moments to participate. Here’s how it will work:
- Friday, September 15: Collectors will need the Common Top Shot Debut of the leading scorer on the Mystics, Liberty, Dream, and Wings (4 Moments)
- Sunday, September 17: Collectors will need the Common Top Shot Debut of the leading scorer on the Sky, Aces, Lynx, and Sun (4 Moments)
- Tuesday, September 19: Collectors will need the Common Top Shot Debut of the leader in rebounds + assists on the Mystics, Liberty, Dream, and Wings (4 Moments)
- Wednesday, September 19: Collectors will need the Common Top Shot Debut of the leader in rebounds + assists on the Sky, Aces, Lynx, and Sun (if these games take place, up to 4 Moments)
- Eligibility: If the leader in any of these categories has a Top Shot Debut in the Fandom, Rare, or Legendary tiers, the next leader in this statistical category who has a Common Top Shot Debut will be required.
Everyone who completes the WNBA Flash Challenge will receive 1 new WNBA Base Set Pack, and the remaining Packs will be made available for sale in the Pack Drop.
In total, there are 5,097 Base Set Packs that will be created, so the total number available for sale will be decided by the number of participants in this WNBA Flash Challenge.
THE WNBA LEGENDARY PACK DROP SNAPSHOT
On September 21, 2023, at 2 PM ET, a Snapshot will be taken of every collector with a completed and locked WNBA Set.
Owning a completed and locked WNBA Set at the time of the Snapshot is the only way to join the Queue for the WNBA Legendary Pack Drop, featuring /27 Legendary Moments from the WNBA Playoffs and Finals.
- Legendary Pack Supply Distribution: 10% of the total Packs available will be allocated to a WNBA Legendary Burn Leaderboard, where all Legendary tier WNBA Moments can be burned. The remaining 90% of the Packs will be available in exclusive Pack Drops reserved for WNBA collectors.
- Legendary Completed and Locked Set Snapshot Holder: Guaranteed Access to purchase 1 Pack. If you have a Complete + Locked "In Her Bag" Set and a Complete + Locked "In Their Bag" Set, you'll have Guaranteed Access to purchase two Legendary WNBA Packs. This only applies to 1 of each Set and not a stack of the same Set twice.
- Rare Completed and Locked Set Snapshot Holder: Priority Access to a Queue where 60% of the remaining supply is available.
- Common or Fandom Completed and Locked Set Snapshot Holder: General Admission Access to a Queue where 40% of the remaining supply is available.
These WNBA Legendary Packs will be made available following the WNBA Finals and will be $499 each, containing 1 Legendary Moment minted to /27, 2 Rare MGLE Moments minted to /199, and 7 Common Base Set Moments.
THE LEGENDARY WNBA TEAM LEADERBOARD REWARDS
On July 28, 2023, at 4 PM ET, a Snapshot was taken of the Top 50 collectors on each WNBA Team’s Leaderboard.
Those collectors have earned themselves the first Legendary Rookie Moments in WNBA history, and they’re being curated and designed as you read this today.
They’ll be delivered before the WNBA Finals come to a close, and we can’t wait to reveal this iconic roster of 12 WNBA Legendary Rookie Moments featuring players from 2011-2020.
No player with an existing Rookie Mint Moment will be receiving a new W Rookie Moment — and they never will — and each new Legendary Rookie Moment from W history will be minted to /50 and delivered to eligible collectors from the Leaderboard Snapshot.
THE FINAL WNBA FANDOM LEADERBOARD
On September 22, the final WNBA Fandom Leaderboard will go live, ending on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 4 PM ET. Following the tradition of previous Fandom Leaderboards during the 2023 WNBA season, it will reward the top 99, 499, and 1997 collectors with up to three new Moments.
