Celebrate The Holiday of Hoops With NBA Top Shot

There’s nothing better than spending time with friends and family, watching basketball together, sharing stories and exchanging gifts during the holidays. For the rest of December, that’s how we’ll be celebrating the Holiday of Hoops with our NBA community, starting right now.

Celebrate the 12 Days of Hoopsmas

During the 12 Days of Hoopsmas, you can win prizes and exchange gifts with other collectors around the world by gifting a Moment to the new TopShotSecretSanta account. 

For every Moment you send to that account, you’ll automatically receive one back as a gift from another collector on December 23 — and it’ll also make you eligible to win a piece of $15,000 in NBA prizes over 12 days from Top Shot, including: 

• 15 collectors will win NBA Store gift cards so they can rep their team. 

• 15 collectors will win Ticketmaster gift cards so they can watch their team. 

• 15 collectors will win Infinite Objects displays so they can celebrate their team. 

• 10 collectors will win Top Shot Marketplace credit so they can collect their team. 

• …and 5 collectors will win NBA Jam Arcade Cabinets so they can play with their team. 

To become eligible for these prizes, simply gift one Moment to the new TopShotSecretSanta account or gift a Moment directly to another collector in the community. By sending a gift to a friend or stranger, you may receive some pretty awesome gifts in return, and that’s just the start of the Holiday of Hoops. 

The deadline to send a gift to TopShotSecretSanta is 11:59pm ET (8:59pm PT) on December 22, 2022.

Spread Holiday Cheer with Top Shot Secret Santa

When you receive your Secret Santa gift(s) on December 23, a select few of you will get Rare, Legendary, Top Shot Debut or Series 1 Moment from members of the Top Shot team. For the holiday season, our team members can contribute toward the Secret Santa initiative and will be sending favorites from their existing personal collection to the Secret Santa account (they won’t get one back). There are 5 NBA games on December 25, and we’ll have 6 Challenges to play along with them, offering a new Reward Moment from each of those games. There will be other fun and festive Challenges throughout December, including new limited edition Moments from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kristaps Porzingis and Bones Hyland. 

Starting today, you can also run Plays on Top Shot. 

Plays are optional and fun ways to celebrate your collection and achieve goals that earn you unique Tags for your profile. Tags can’t be bought or sold, and give you new ways to personalize your Profile. There’s an easy and hard path of Plays to finish, each with their own Tag, so get into the action today.

‍Connecting and Collecting with Top Shot’s Community

We’re hot off the heels of our first Tour stop in Portland, where collectors showed up and showed out for a future of fandom experience unique to Rip City.

Fans got to hang out with Blazers legend Terry Porter, take pictures on the Moda Center court after the game, and, of course, got to rip exclusive packs. We are looking ahead to Toronto this weekend, and pumped for Miami and Paris in January. Fans of all 30 NBA teams continue to watch their favorite teams live with free tickets from Top Shot’s Fan Communities — and during the Holiday of Hoops, many of these communities are hosting events and going to games.
