Top Shot’s Series 1 Vault is now open! Inside the Vault, you’ll find:
- Unreleased Series 1 Legendary Holo MMXX and From The Top Grails from Top Shot’s earliest days
- Every unreleased Series 1 Reserve Pack in our inventory
- Every Common, Rare, and Legendary Series 1 Moment from the Locker Room
When the Vault is closed later this summer, it’ll be completely empty — spread across our community, with ways for all collectors to get involved and make some free agency moves with their Moments.
The first two Vault Leaderboards are now live, with six more coming this July!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The complete remaining supply of unreleased Series 1 Moments will be distributed through 8 different Burn Leaderboards from July 14-24, and then a Trade Ticket Pack Drop shortly after the final Leaderboard concludes.
By climbing and finishing in the prize windows on any of these Leaderboards, you’ll win Series 1 Packs with four Common Series 1 Moments inside each.
By finishing in the top three of a “Top 25” or “Top 50” Leaderboard, you can also win Legendary Series One Grails, each minted to just /25 — Holo MMXX Moments from Ja Morant, Chris Paul, Trae Young, and Paul George, or Legendary From The Top James Harden Moments!
To climb any of these 8 Leaderboards and win Series 1 Packs, you can burn eligible Locked and Unlocked Series 1, Series 2 (and Summer ‘21), Series 3, and Series 4 Moments from some of the best NBA players of the past, present, and future — with each Series given their own isolated Leaderboards to create a level playing field. The list includes:
- Any active or retired member of the NBA 75 list
- The 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Rookie of the Year
- The Top 5 MVP candidates from 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23
While we wouldn’t be surprised if some of our collectors could rattle off every one of those players with their eyes closed, the A-Z list of NBA greatness whose Moments are included features:

The Top Shot Score of each Moment will be applied to the Leaderboard once it is burned. When you burn a Moment, it’s gone forever. New upgrades to the Burn Leaderboard experience will show your projected rank on a Leaderboard prior to burning selected Moments.

Eligible Locked and Unlocked Moments can be burned to climb each Leaderboard, and collectors can participate in as many Leaderboards as they’d like.
For any Moment that is burned, you will also receive a Trade Ticket.
Only eligible Moments burned while a Leaderboard is live will count towards the Leaderboard.
TOP 25 LEADERBOARDS: FRIDAY, JULY 14 - MONDAY, JULY 17
The Top 25 collectors on each Leaderboard will win prizes. One Leaderboard lets collectors burn eligible Series 4 Moments. The other lets collectors burn eligible Series 3 Moments. Rare and Legendary Moments from the player list can be used to climb each Leaderboard.

The Series 2 Top 200 Leaderboard will go live at 3 PM ET on Friday, July 21, and end at 1 PM ET on Monday, July 24.
The Series 1 Top 200 Leaderboard will go live at 3 PM ET on Friday, July 21, and end at 2 PM ET on Monday, July 24.
Each “Top 200 Leaderboard” will feature the same prize structure.
- 1st Place: 10 Series One Packs (40 Series 1 Moments)
- 2nd Place: 5 Series One Packs (20 Series 1 Moments)
- 3rd Place: 3 Series One Packs (12 Series 1 Moments)
- 4th to 10th Place: 2 Series One Packs Packs (8 Series 1 Moments)

The eligible Moments that can be burned on these Leaderboards are the same as the Top 25 and Top 50 Leaderboards, but these give collectors an option with a deeper prize pool to compete for.
INSIDE SERIES 1 RESERVE PACKS
The Prize Packs for all 8 Series 1 Vault Burn Leaderboards are Series 1 Reserve Packs, containing 4 Series 1 Moments Per Pack. In total, there are 196 unique players who have Series 1 Base Set Moments inside these Packs, headlined by:

THE REST OF THE SERIES 1 MOMENTS
After these Packs are distributed, all of the remaining Series 1 Moments (~61,000) will be from the Locker Room inventory and distributed for Trade Tickets. These Series 1 Trade Ticket Packs will be built using all remaining Common, Rare, and Legendary Series One Moments in TheLockerRoom, along with the remaining Legendary Moments from the NBATopShot collection that are not distributed in these other Leaderboards.
A total of ~21,000 Locker Room Packs will be made available, with 3 S1 Moments inside of each, for 40 Trade Tickets Per Pack.
The ability to burn Moments for Trade Tickets is now on, so whether you are participating in a Series 1 Leaderboard or accumulating Trade Tickets for the final Series 1 Trade Ticket Drop, you can burn any Locked or Unlocked Moments in your collection today!
When the Vault is empty, every Series 1 Moment in Top Shot's supply will be in the hands of our collectors!
