Remember the poster on your bedroom wall, the one you'd have given anything to get signed? This season, it comes to life on NBA Top Shot.
We're partnering with players across the league, from this year's rookie class to second-year players to veterans, and every one of them is putting his name on his Moments. Every partnered Top Shot Athlete carries a badge that follows him across the site, so you'll know a signed player the second you land on one of his Moments.
And we're starting at the very top of the draft.
The Squad
It starts at the very top of the draft. The first four names called on draft night were AJ Dybantsa to Washington, Darryn Peterson to Utah, Cameron Boozer to Memphis and Caleb Wilson to Chicago, and all four are partnered Top Shot Athletes.
Dybantsa, the 6'9" forward out of Brockton, Massachusetts, came through BYU and went first overall. Peterson, a 6'6" guard from Canton, Ohio, played his college ball at Kansas and went second. Boozer, a 6'9" forward from Miami, starred at Duke before Memphis took him third, and Wilson, a 6'10" forward from Atlanta, played at North Carolina and went fourth to Chicago.
From there, the class kept signing. Twelve more first-round picks have joined the squad, from Keaton Wagler at No. 5 to Joshua Jefferson at No. 28. Two of last year's rookies, Cooper Flagg and Cedric Coward, are signing as sophomores, and Pascal Siakam and Jalen Johnson bring the veteran side of the roster.

Why the signature matters
Ask anyone who has been in the hobby long enough and they'll tell you the same thing: the autograph is where a player's collection lives. In cardboard, the signed rookie is the card collectors build around. It's the piece the market reaches for first when a player breaks out, and the one that holds its place years after their rookie seasons conclude.
Every Moment puts you back in the arena for a play that mattered. A signature adds one more layer to it: the mark of the player who made that play. Put that signature on a version only a handful of collectors will ever own, and you have the kind of piece a collection is remembered for.
Signed where it's scarcest
On every Moment a partnered Top Shot Athlete gets this season, the scarcest parallel carries his autograph. In Rookie Debut for example, it's not the /99 or /50, but the /5 of that Moment that is signed. hatever the set and whatever the tier, the signature goes on the scarcest version, so every signed Moment sits at the very top of its ladder.
A 1/1 for every signature
Every partnered Top Shot Athlete receives a Signature Series 1/1 this season, whether he's a rookie, a sophomore or a veteran. One Moment, one owner, one signature.
Signature Rookies sign every rung
Our partnered rookies sign at every rung of this season's Rookie Ladder. From Common to Rare to Legendary to Ultimate, the scarcest version of every set they appear in carries their signature.
Rookie Debut drops to /500 this season, and its /5 carries his autograph, making it the scarcest Rookie Debut we've ever minted. His Holo Icon 1/1 is signed. The Moments awarded to his top collectors are signed too: the Rookie Yearbook /26 that goes to his top 26 collectors, and the Blue Chip /3 that goes to the top three collectors of every All-Rookie player.
Then there's Signature Style, a /49 set built only for Signature Rookies. Every Moment in it is signed, and it's available only through trade-in auctions.
