The First Drop of the 2025-26 NBA Season is Here

After months of hype, excitement, and speculation, the time to debut the season’s first drop has finally arrived. Bring on the Rookies!

The opening week of the 2025-26 season delivered instant classic Moments across the league. This drop captures it all: Rookies making their NBA debuts, rising superstars making their opening night statements, and players suiting up for new teams for the first time! 

The Rookies Have ARRIVED

• Cooper Flagg announced his arrival with authority, notching a double-double in his very first NBA game. 
• VJ Edgecombe dropped 34 points in his debut, the highest-scoring NBA debut since Wilt Chamberlain in 1959.
• Kon Knueppel gave his home crowd something to remember, flying down the court for his first career bucket in an opening night victory. 
• Dylan Harper showed mastery of his craft beyond his years, slicing through the lane for 15 points and his first NBA basket. 
• Jeremiah Fears let his game do the talking, hitting a stepback jumper for his first two points en route to 17 in his debut.

The Stars Deliver

• Victor Wembanyama punctuated his 40/15 return with a Shaolin reverse jam and an unreal sequence: blocking a shot and pulling up for a stepback three.
• Aaron Gordon sank 10 threes en route to a new career high 50 points on opening night. 
• Steph, Luka, Ant, and Maxey all had jaw-dropping performances, reminding everyone that the league's elite are ready for another run.

The Autographs

NBA Top Shot has partnered with 25+ rookies this season.  For this first release of Rookie Debuts, 17 rookies are signing their /50 Hardcourt Parallel Moment with the inscription "My first bucket." As more rookies make their NBA debuts throughout the season, NBA Top Shot will continue to release new Rookie Debut Moments with additional partners joining the lineup.

New levels of collectibility are coming to every set:

The Base Set now features the Club Collection parallel, minted to just /99, showcasing team colors across all Moment panels, a tribute to the unique identity of each franchise:

Rookie Debut gets even more exclusive, now minted to just /1000, down significantly from last season’s /4000. Two new parallels join the lineup: the Blockchain /99 and the Hardcourt /50 (which features signatures from partnered rookies). Every Rookie Debut includes an /50 parallel, even for non-partnered players.

Season Tip-Off and Fresh Threads are minted to /249, with two stunning new parallels: the Hexwave /25 and the Jukebox /10, each one a true collector's prize.
