The first community match
The Rally is live across NBA Top Shot. It's our first deposit match where the rate isn't set at the start — it climbs as the entire collector community locks Moments together. As the community fills it, the match rate goes up for everyone.
How it works
We all start at 5% match (7% VIP). That's the floor rate, active from the moment the window opened on Monday at midnight Eastern.
When the community locks $100,000 worth of Moments together, the rate climbs to 10% (12% VIP). Every lock after that point earns the higher rate.
When we hit $500,000 community locked, the rate climbs again to 15% (20% VIP).
The Rally closes the moment the community locks $1,000,000 in Moments — or on Sunday, June 7, whichever happens first. Locks after that point don't earn anything. So lock now and lock often.
What counts
Make a new deposit, purchase a Moment, lock it. Your qualifying spend is the lesser of your new deposits and the value of the Moments you lock during the window.

What doesn't count
The lock has to hold. If you burn the Moment for a Trade-In Auction, redeem it in a Buyback, manually unlock it, or use it in any mechanic that ends the lock state before the window closes, both your Rally match on that lock and your qualifying spend disappear. Pre-existing Dapper Balance never qualifies — only new deposits.
Every lock pulls everyone up
Here's the part that makes The Rally a real community match: when the community pushes the rate higher, your whole pool of qualifying spend climbs with it. Not just the locks you make from that point forward — every Moment you've already locked recalculates at the new rate.
Lock at 5% on Day 1. If the community pushes the rate to 15% by close, your Day 1 lock earns 15%. So does Day 2, Day 5, Day 18. Every qualifying lock pays out at the final community rate.
The community is playing as one team — and every lock makes everyone's payout bigger, including your own.
Already on the board
Moments you've locked since Monday at midnight Eastern are already counted. We didn't want anyone who jumped in early to miss out on the credit.
