On June 23, the best of the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors 2022 NBA Finals duel will join this hallowed ground.

After 25,000+ votes across Discord, Twitter and Instagram, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Legendary Block on Deandre Ayton to clinch a Game 4 victory has been voted the Best NBA Finals Top Shot Moment by our community.

The road to glory wasn’t easy for Giannis, taking down Anthony Davis, Chris Paul and Jrue Holiday’s Legendary Finals Moments on the way to an epic matchup against LeBron James’ Series One Legendary NBA Finals Dunk from Game 6 in his championship run in The Bubble with the Los Angeles Lakers.

WHAT MADE THE MOMENT SPECIAL

For half a decade now, two-time MVP and former Defensive Player of the Year Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown us glimpses of the legendary feats he's capable of, but in the waning minutes of Game 4 of the NBA Finals, he laid it out plain as day. With just over a minute on the clock and a two-point lead in a critical contest against the Phoenix Suns, Antetokounmpo flashes away from his man to provide help-side support out of a pick-and-roll, then immediately recovers to track down and thwart an alley-oop attempt between Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. The instantly iconic July 14, 2021 rejection would play a major role in the win, allowing the Milwaukee Bucks to tie the series at two games apiece.
