We've never really had a season like 2020-21. (aka Top Shot Series 2)
To say the least.
A year that started just two months after the end of the 2019-20 season saw a new generation of superstars make the leap into being household names. It saw some of the league's biggest names change squads. It saw fans return to the stands, it saw a rising crop of rookies announce their arrival and it saw Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday & the Bucks bring Milwaukee its first title in half a century.
And this week, as our friends at the NBA count down the Top 100 Plays of the Season & Playoffs, we'll be taking you through the Moments you can find on Top Shot.
Keep reading for the Moments you can find on Top Shot from 10-6. See you tomorrow for the Top 5!
10 - Damian Lillard
Game-Time. Dame Time.
Damian Lillard knows better than anyone how to end a game in-style. The Portland Trail Blazers superstar adds yet another game winner to his portfolio, collecting the ball after a late-game jump then burying a go-ahead triple over the Chicago Bulls as time expires on January 30, 2021.
9 - Kevin Durant
An Inch From Immortality
Kevin Durant put the Nets on his back and hit this unbelievable shot to force overtime. If his foot was one inch further back the Nets win the game and we have a different NBA Champion. In a parallel universe, Nets fans may have been celebrating a title.
8 - Kawhi Leonard
Don’t Mess With The Klaw
What Kawhi wants, Kawhi gets. Leonard drives into the lane and puts the very brave Derrick Favors on a poster. Kawhi once again proving that he is a force to be reckoned with even if he isn’t the flashiest player on the court.
7 - Kevin Durant
A Thing Of Beauty
Durant gets the credit on the Moment for finishing the play, but if there were a category of Moments for teams, this would be the perfect Moment. Mike James bats the ball to Griffin who makes a wild behind-the-back pass to Irving who finds James who puts it off the glass to be finished by a streaking Durant. Truly beautiful basketball.
6 - Miles Bridges
Tremendous Tomahawk
It’s no secret that Miles Bridges is one of the best dunkers in the league. With dunks like this one, he wants to be remembered as one of the best of all time. Bridges drives into the lane and extends his arm as far back as it goes to unleash one of the most vicious dunks you will ever see. Did we mention that elite rim protector, Clint Capela, was waiting for him? No? Well it didn’t matter.
